This room was transformed from a storage room into the most used room in the house! This colorful playroom was inspired by the family’s love of nature and Yosemite National Park. The need for storage was huge so we designed custom white storage to fit into the sloping ceiling walls. Multiple gathering nooks were created so that multiple groups could gather in the same space. Color and pattern were used throughout the space to create a playful atmosphere and inspire creativity. A custom frame with LED lights was created to showcase art made by this family’s budding artist, and a swing was installed with enough reinforcement to be able to handle an adult’s weight in the future. The swing seat can be changed out to accommodate this growing family.
