While working with this family, our goal was to create an acquired, lived-in, European-inspired home and avoid having the home feel like brand new construction. We accomplished this by incorporating tons of rich textures, finishes and sourcing unique lighting and plumbing fixtures. We aimed to balance color, contrast and texture in each space. We also pulled lots of inspiration from nature and we worked with dozens of local artisans to support the local community. All in all, this space had to be beautiful, livable and durable for this family. The final result is a cozy home that feels warm and welcoming.
