PROJECT SUMMARY: When the COVID-19 pandemic forced this locally owned coffee shop to close their doors, they decided that it was the perfect time to remodel their space. They kept their baristas on the payroll and handed them a paintbrush. This project is the definition of pivoting. Hardy Coffee Co hired The Heartland Interior Design to help create a cohesive space for their downtown location. We implemented their branding with statement mural walls, brand colors, and large local art. We pulled the natural light from the front of the bay through the space with highly reflective paint finishes. The hard-working people at Hardy Coffee Co installed hundreds of Edison bulbs along the overhead light track which brought a warm glow to even the darkest corners of the space.
